On which trains can you book your journey?

The special offer is sold only in limited amount and is bound to selected trains operated by CD and ZSSK from selected stations in Slovakia to Berlin, Germany.

Sales conditions

  • The ticket may be purchased via the ZSSK online shop
    (After the connection is found, the system offers the option of purchase using the button "Travel document purchase - BERLIN SPECIAL".) – click on the picture to zoom in the purchase guidelines
  • There are two price groups, according to the amount of the sold travel documents
  • The BERLIN SPECIAL offer is sold without the seat reservation, while the reservation can be purchased on the top
  • The ticket is sold separately for the direction ZSSK-DB and separately for the direction DB-ZSSK
  • Advance sale  is available earliest 60 days prior to and latest 72 hours prior to the scheduled train departure from its initial station (in case of the trains initiating their journey from the MÁV-START stations, it is latest 72 hours before the train departure from the border station MÁV-START - ZSSK)
  • The passenger needs to carry with him/her the printed internet document (ITD) for both journeys between Berlin and the selected station in the Slovak republic
  • The special deal is bound to the selected train or the selected trains in case of changing the connection

The cases when you are entitled to a refund:

  • The reason for cancellation is on the side of the passenger - you can return the ticket via the online shop and latest 72 hours before the scheduled train departure from the initial station. The cancellation fee of 10 % from ITD, minimum 5 €, will be deducted.
  • The reason for cancellation is on the side of the carrier (train delay, catastrophic weather, strike, an accident en route) - you can return the ticket at the ticket-desk KVC within 1 hour after the train departure from your boarding station. In such a case, no cancellation fee is deducted.
