  • low fare for the day and night trains to the Czech Republic – e.g. for the ticket Košice-Prague the seat ticket price starts at 18 € (or 19 € in night trains), for the ticket Bratislava-Prague the seat ticket price starts at 12 € (please click on night trains pricelist and day trains pricelist)
  • EUROPA EXPRES can be purchased at ZSSK ticket desks or in the ZSSK online shop (please, click the instruction figure)
  • The price of the ticket for the trains departing from the Czech Republic and from Slovakia already includes the seat reservation

Where and how can you make use of

  • On the night and day trains from the Eastern and Western Slovakia to the Czech Republic and back
  • The number of available tickets is limited
  • The ticket is to be purchased latest 24 hours in advance
  • On the international trains departing from stations out of Slovakia or the Czech Republic, which are only passing through Slovakia or the Czech Republic, e.g. the route Budapest-Bratislava-Prague, the EUROPA EXPRES tickets are available in limited amounts and can be purchased:
    • only online
    • you can only purchase the travel document without seat reservation (the reservation can be purchased at ticket desks)
  • You can present EUROPA EXPRES ticket in electronic version (in your tablet, smartphone). The printed ticket is only necessary if it includes a berth or a couchette reservation.
  • The EUROPA EXPRES is only valid on the train and day for which it is reserved.
