Lost and Found

All types of hand-luggage, coats, jackets, cameras, umbrellas and the best-loved “teddies”…all things of those kinds have already been lost and found again on our trains. What to do if you forget something on the train?

If you forgot or lost something…

  • Please, call our Call Centre (phone number 18 188 or +421 24 48 588 for international calls), or send an email to info@remove-this.slovakrail.sk. The sooner you contact us, the better chance for successful search. In case we find the thing left behind, we can transport it upon request of the owner to the station most convenient to him/her and in the shortest possible time,

If it is you who finds a left-behind luggage or personal belongings...

  • Please, hand it to a member of our train personnel, or to any other employee (ticket-desk, Customer Centre employees) or report it to the Railway Police,

Is this service charged in any way?

  • The search fee is 3 €,
  • In case the owner of the found belongings does not pick it up within a few days, we can charge the depository fee: 2 €/pcs/day or 6 €/pcs/week. Overall maximum charged fee is 15€/pcs,
  • The fee for sending a found item to a station selected by the customer is 3 € for each item separately.

What happens if nobody submits a query for the lost belongings?

  • The lost and found collection point is in Košice. If the owner does not contact us within a certain period of time, the lost and found belongings become the subject of a public auction,
  • The next auction takes place on 23rd March 2018, 9.00 a.m. at Košice station.
