Železničná spoločnosť Slovensko (ZSSK) as the contractor of Regional organization for the High Tatras tourism offers its customers the convenient offer – the regional TATRY Card with which you can travel within the region and according to your needs.

TATRY Card benefits

  • Free-of-charge travel on the Tatra Electric Railways and Cog Railway,
  • You obtain further discounts and benefits on the sport activities, sightseeing (museums), wellness and catering.

How to become the TATRY Card holder?

On which train you can travel with the TATRY Card?

  • All cog railway trains on the line Štrba – Štrbské Pleso and back,
  • All Tatra Electric Railways trains on the line Poprad Tatry – Starý Smokovec – Štrbské Pleso and back,
  • All Tatra Electric Railways trains on the line Starý Smokovec – Tatranská Lomnica and back,
  • All trains on the route Poprad Tatry – Studený Potok – Tatranská Lomnica and back,
  • In total 57 kilometres of routes with 27 stops and stations.

How much it costs?

  • The fee is 3 € in facilities located in towns of Vysoké Tatry and Poprad and in village Štrba or 4 € in the foothills. The maximum period of validity is 3 nights (4 days). If you stay longer, it is possible to prolong the validity for a new fee,

How to travel with the TATRY Card?

  • TATRY Card is valid for unlimited number of journeys until 12 pm of the last day of its validity
  • it is not necessary to stamp the card in the stamping machines,
  • during the ticket control, you will need to present the card and also the valid ID,
  • children aged 6-15 can present any kind of an ID document with a photograph and date of birth. It can be the passport or the responsible person ID where the childe is registered (if the state laws allow this kind of registration), or with a credible identification document such as the health insurance card.

For what else besides travel you can use the TATRY Card?

The card enables its holder to take the advantage of many other benefits and discounts with other contractor partners of the Regional Organization for the High Tatras tourism (e.g. AquaCity, restaurant services, wellness services, sports).
