SLOVAK EXPRES – convenient night travel across Slovakia

Travelling on the night trains across Slovakia became more convenient now. The new special ticket SLOVAK EXPRESS starts already at 14,90 € and offers you the night travel on the route Bratislava - Košice, Humenné or Prešov and back.

Where can you purchase SLOVAK EXPRES tickets

  • ZSSK ticket desks
  • ZSSK online shop (once you choose your train, click the button Purchase and choose the option SLOVAK EXPRES)

The ticket can be purchased at a ZSSK ticket desk or online, latest 24 hours prior to the departure of the train from the initial station. The number of SLOVAK EXPRESS tickets is limited. The ticket is only valid on the train and day for which it is reserved.

The prices are the same regardless to distance. For instance, the price of a ticket from Bratislava to Humenné is equal to the price of a ticket from Bratislava to Košice.

Ticket refund:

  • the reason on the passenger’s side – refund of the ticket is possible latest 24 hours prior to the departure of the train from the boarding station –, 10% of the original price will be deducted as cancellation – fee. Tickets purchased at sales points can be returned at sales points equipped with KVC system, tickets purchased online only via online cancellation form. Refund of the ticket on the 1st day of its validity or partial refund is not possible.

  • the reason on the carrier’s side  - refund possible up to 60 minutes after the departure of the train from the initial station, refund possible only at sales points equipped with KVC system (the same applies to tickets purchased online)
