Suggestions and Complaints

Our company has not met its obligations? Do you have a suggestion on how to improve our services? Tell us. We will answer the customer complaints in 30 working days. In case of petitions, repetitive or serious complaints, we answer up to 60 days.

If you want to submit a complaint...

  • onboard the train, by filling in the “Notification on Failures and Deficiences”  form (or on a plain sheet of paper) that will be provided to you at request by the train crew,
  • at train stations – by making an entry into Complaints and Suggestions Book,
  • via conventional mail to following address: Železničná spoločnosť Slovensko, a.s., Sekcia služieb zákazníkom, Rožňavská 1, 832 72  Bratislava 3,
  • via e-mail to the address of the Customer Services Section:  zssksesz@slovakrail.sk, or  the Call Centre: info@slovakrail.sk,
  • personally - by submitting the complaint at the mail office or at the Customer Services Section, Železničná spoločnosť Slovensko, Rožňavská 1, you will receive a confirmation of the delivery.

If you do not agree with the resolution of your complaint or in case your complaint is related to railway security (injury), behaviour of a ZSSK employee, services on restaurant, berth or couchettes coaches or InterCity trains, please submit your complaint to Inspection and Supervison Department, Železničná spoločnosť Slovensko:

  • via conventional mail to following address: Železničná spoločnosť Slovensko, Odbor inšpekcie a kontroly, Rožňavská 1, 832  72 Bratislava 3,
  • via e-mail to the address zsskoik@slovakrail.sk
  • personally, by submitting the complaint at the mail office of Železničná spoločnosť Slovensko, Rožňavská 1, Bratislava.

In your complaint, please specify the date and train or working compartment where the incident occurred. In case you do not agree with the resolution of your complaint and you used all kinds of appellation within ZSSK, you may send your complaint to Slovak Trade Inspection (Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia) or to the Transport Authority (Dopravný úrad).

Železničná spoločnosť Slovensko, a.s. (ZSSK) is liable for your transportation and for transportation of your luggage and  has to respect your rights guaranteed by the Regulation.
